Newcastle winger Timana Tahu will attempt a five-day turn around from a knee arthroscope to play in this year's finals. Tahu had a knee arthroscopy on Monday and the Knights face elimination on Saturday night. In recent years, the recovery from an arthroscopy has reduced substantially, with Adam Dykes playing five days after surgery in a final for Cronulla two years ago. However, the risks of infection and worsening of articular cartilage damage remain.
