Hi,
I still dislocate my shoulder and it is really easy at present. I have previously had 3 x operations on it without success.
Surfing is my passion; Surfing and dislocations do not mix.....
SO I want to find the person with the BEST Reputation, who is known as the BEST for this 4th procedure. I want to get it right !
Does anyone know who this BEST of the BEST Surgeon is for Shoulders?? IF you feel uncomfrotable posting that here, please contact me here: keith.mirgis@eurorscg.com.au
Your information would be invaluable to me...
Thanks
Keith

Hi,
I am unable to reply to your personal email address as this system does something silly to it.
Here is my email address: keith.mirgis at eurorscg.com.au
I have been getting a list together - asking lots of people who is the bestr surgeon on shoulders in Sydney. I am waiting for the same name to be repeated the most, then I figure he must be the best.
How are you going? And what on earth is a shoulder seperation?
Please email me at my personal address above

Hi there,
There is no such thing as the best shoulder surgeon.
It very much depends on what problem you have, their experience and how well you relate to them. I got two opinions on my shoulder. Ended up choosing my current surgeon as I liked his philosophy on rehab and the follow up.
In Melbourne there a few good shoulder surgeons. My surgeon, Greg Hoy specialises in shoulder instability. I have just had my right shoulder operated on for multi directional instability. Greg also sees patients that come from interstate. He has also operated on a lot of elite Australian athletes such as some elite cricketers, swimmers and footballers.
Good luck !!

I think that it's really important for people to understand that finding a good surgeon is really important and finding a good surgeon is normally through word of mouth.

Hi,
I just had a shoulder reco in sydney 8 weeks ago, everything is cruising along nicely etc. I had the open shoulder stabilisation performed by Dr Greg Burrows. I had a few other opions Boka and others mentioned on the fourm all saying I needed the shoulder reco. I guess you know what to expect after the op, anyways good luck.
Cheers
