Pst op accident

I am currently 18 months post acl (patellar tendon method),
All was going well very stable and i had great range of movement,next to no pain, when i slipped on a stair at home and twisted my knee.
i was in hospital for 3 days and had my knee aspirated and put into a brace.
i've just been back to see my consultant and had the brace removed but i'm waiting to have an MRI scan to see the extent of any damage.
Has anyone else experienced any further problems post op???

Sorry to hear that you had a fall... although I reckon that being 18 months after your reco that if this has damaged your ACL then it is a new injury, and not really related to the surgery if all was well before. I fell down some stairs 10 days after my ACL reco.... very scary..... did no damage though thank god, other then scare myself. All I think you can do is wait to see what comes from the MRI and be guided by your OS. Good luck, and I hope it isnt as bad as you think...keep us posted
