View Full Version : sympysis pubis
I have been diagnosed with a possible symphysis pubis instability problem that refers pain to my pudenal area and makes it uncomfortable to sit. Basically no pain while moving around. I'm not a sports athelete and basically my only sport is bodyboarding and I am a 50 yr old male. The discomfort has become chronic and I have had it for 18 months. I have been advised to do pilates which might alleviate my symptoms. Just curious do any other people have a pain basically just sitting that has been linked to the symphysis pubis.

osteitis pubis can cause pudendal pain, but I would rule out other causes with a thorough medical consult & examination, xray of the pelvis & depending on these findings which could direct investigations elsewhere, an MRI of sacrum/pelvis/pubic bones
