Port Adelaide cop plenty for their choking propensity in finals, but even their biggest detractors would have to admit they have done very well in winning so many home and away season games without having great luck with injury. Normally the home and away season (and even the Premiership) is won, in the words of David Parkin, by the "good team with the best run with injuries" rather than the "best team".
If Primus is gone for the year, joining Francou, it makes it very hard to see Port winning the flag in 2004. Still they continue to amaze by being 3-0. However, it will be more pain if they limp into the finals and are again blown away by another team who has more big guns left on the park.
