I have been to see my surgeon the other day and he advised that it would be in my best interest to have my ankle fused due to avn etc.. I have been putting up with the pain for 3 years, it is not going to get any better only worse. He advised the recovery time would be approx 12 months all up, i would be interested in any other experiences of this procedure and outcome. thanks zaz
