Jaques Kallis has 'torn a tendon' in his elbow and will not play in any of the warm up games against WA. By the looks of their current result against the Warriors (Lost by an inning and 100+ runs) South Africa will be hoping their best bat will be ok for ALL games against Australia to have any chance.

JACQUES Kallis's tour of Australia has suffered an early setback with the South African vice-captain aggravating an elbow injury, keeping him out of the side's opening warm-up match.
The all-rounder sustained the injury during the Proteas' tour of India last month and aggravated it batting in the nets on Sunday.
Taken to hospital yesterday for scans, the man voted joint ICC player of the year with England's Andrew Flintoff in October was found to have an inflamed and torn tendon in his left elbow.
Kallis was ruled out of the three-day game against Western Australia starting yesterday and the one-day fixture at Lilac Hill on Friday.
The injury is a setback for a key figure in the Proteas' hopes of a successful tour this summer. The top-ranked Test batsman in world cricket, Kallis averages 57.07 with the bat and has also taken 184 wickets in his 94-Test career.
In the tour match, an unbeaten century stand between Adam Voges and Marcus North steered Western Australia to 3-177 at tea on the opening day at the WACA Ground.
The tourists reduced WA to 3-67 shortly before lunch, but Voges and North guided the Warriors out of trouble.
