Well i have just done some good damaged to my toes. I was at the swimming pool training I got out of the pool and was walking to my bag when I slipped and my right foot slammed hard into stands. The yswelled up right away and my coach iced then until I was picked up.

My mum took me to the hospital to have my foot checked and I have damaged the Extensor Digitorum Longus in my foot. It is not torn but I have pulled it really badly and I have also broken three toes.

Does anyone know how long I am going to be on the sidelines for. I am not in plaster they have strapped two toes and left the other one.

Geez, sounds as painful as when I broke my toe 2 months ago.
I play basketball and although my toe took 6 weeks to heal, I started to play by 2 and a half weeks.

It was painfully. I was out of netball for eight weeks, but I was back at swimming four weeks after. It took forever to heal, mainly my toes. The ligament didn't take long at all. I am now really careful at swimming and I have to strap one toe when running as it still gets sore. Sorry it took a while to answer
