I developed this slight annoying pain on the right side of my lower back when lifting weights (squatting). The pain went away but then came back a couple months later. It then transfered to pain on the right side of my back (the left side is now perfectly fine). Anyways, it started hurting there a bit but after lifting I aggrivated it even more and now after a lifting session a few days ago something happened and it hurts now. I cannot do lifts that involve the lower back for now. The way I would describe it is if I stand up straight and tilt my torso back I feel a sharp pain in the right side. Another time I feel the pain is when I raise my right leg straight up. The farther I raise it the more it is apparent (the pain in the right side of my lower back). So I was wondering does anyone know what happened here?
Thanks

Prima facie on the what you have stated it sound like your right sacro-illiac joint is fixed and it needs to be manipulated,:) go and see a chiro. The quicker you get back normal motion the quicker the problem will go and stay away

thanks but my back is feeling better now. it cracks sometimes when I hyperextend while leaning back, but it does not hurt as much. I have been lifting heavy and gotten stronger and my back feels better. I just let it rest for a while (no lifting) and slowly started to get better. Went to the doctor and she said just let it rest.
And it only took half a year for for someone to reply to my post!

It is his left SIJ that has dislocated/subluxated! Ardkitt, is your left leg shorter?
The pain is on the right side because pain goes to the side of longer leg. Those muscles get tired...
I had that same. 15 years I suffered chronic back pain. Some chiros tried to manipulate my right SIJ, but no help. Then one doc said my left SIJ is out of place and pushed it back. After that no more pains! No more leg numbness! No more headaches! No more many other nasty SIJD-symptoms...
