Hello all, I do hope no one has first hand experience here but I ruptured both achilles in a ski mishap December 28. I was tardy with surgery (January 16) but was told by my surgeon he was happy with the procedures.

I'm told I will be wheelchair bound for 6-8 weeks and assuming all mends well, rehab and physio after that. I would consider crutches a great step forward so to speak.

I understand the rehab and physio can be a painfull and long process. Has anyone else had the misfortune of making a comeback on both legs?

I am a 52 year old male and very active. I'm finding a half hour spin in the chair at a good pace quite a workout!

Thanks to you all!
