I seeking specialist in the Sydney region that specialise in this poblem.

I had two falls about two years ago and have numerous treatments from physiotherapists and chiropractors to fix this problem. In fairness to them, this problem wasn't their area of speciality.

can you explain the pain from your scaroiliac......I have had a laberal tear repaired 12/04 arthroscopically...have been in constant pain ever since....my physio has suggested that it may be the scaroiliac joint.....I cannot sit for very long at all......I do office work and am constantly changing positions.....from a normal office chair.....to a kneeling chair...to kneeling on the floor....to my office chair backwards......I have another small laberal tear which causes me twinges.....I am not racing to have done yet as it is only small...the repair to the laberal done this way may have caused me further damage.....my pain is a deep dull ache in my buttock region.....I get muscle spasms up my back...... I get some relief from heat packs, 150 mg SR Tramal am and pm and drink or two and crying....my ortho Dr wants to open me up and have a look...but he is not sure of what he is looking for.....describe your pain for me please if you have had a positive diagnosis.

My injury was caused by two falls. I recovered completely from the first fall, but then I had a second fall landing on the same the same part of the body two weeks later. The pain I felt seemed to be a belt that ran from the left hip to the right. Whenever I got up from a seated position (i.e driving a car, on the train, at work) the pain was incredibly intense. I couldn't get straight up. I was buckled over until the muscles seemed to loosen up. On the train I would have to get up at the station before the one I was exiting at just to prepare myself. In the mornings putting on shoes and socks was a major task. My stride was also affected; obese people could walk quicker than me. I couldn't run, and walking up and down stairs was difficult. Even when sleeping I would wake up regularly during the night with pain in the hip region and in the lower back. Finding a comfortable position after the pain set in was a trial and error event. The longer I slept the more intense the pain. I went to numerous physios; most of them in the suburbs and none of them specialised in any particular area of the body. I religiously did all the exercises they prescribed, but they were ineffective. The best results I have had so far was with a chiropractor. I no longer suffer pain during the night, however there is still a dull sensation there which is noticable when I get out of the car after a drive. I can feel a pain, though dull when I push on my tail bone.I am now seeing a physio at the Olympic Stadium in Sydney who treats professional athlethes. He claims to regularly treat this condition, particularly with runners, so I am expecting a successful result.

Head up the road to Newcastle and ask for Bogduk, c/- Newcastle Bone and Joint Institute. Hard to find a decent needle jockey in the Sydney region.

i tore tore a portion of my rectus femoris off 3 years ago and it has ruined my sporting career as i did it when i was 15. It gives me chronic pain always, about half the strength of the other leg in forward motion(especially inwards), i have almost given up, i would settle for no pain at the moment, i have had 5 different physios, but still much the same as when i did it, is there anyone who has any ideas about my situation.
