Hi,
I'm 31 years old. I'm looking for a little help on how to manage Sacroiliac joint and ITB flare ups. I have had both conjoint tendons in my groins stitched back on the pelvic bone (post surgery 20 years and 14 years, yes I was 11 when I had the first one), and also tore up the labrum in my hip, post surgery 5 years now. The surgery was all good no damage to the inner cartliage in the hip joint etcetera, never going to be the same but you accept that.
Now I seem to have this continual struggle between managing pain in my ITB verses the Sacroiliac joint. If one is happy the other is usually killing me. I am always stretching, massaging, icing. But it is tiring, especially when you get to the point that it hurts to roll over in bed. Physios, chiros are all the same, they talk core stability and flexibilty, but when it boils down to it with the injury and surgery I have had, I think it is down to basic body mechanics.
I'm at my wits end. Can anyone help?
Cheers Ash
