I had injury about 2 years ago...
I've played basketball and when I rapidly changed my direction of movement my knee didnt make it. I felt, almoust heard how my knee snapped. It was distort to inner side of the leg and than come back to regular position. It hurts like hell. Sweling wasnt realy big, and recovery didnt last long. After 1 week I was able to walk with little pain. I didnt play sport about 1 year, meanwhile i didnt felt any pain or problem with my knee, and than I tried to play basketball again.
As soon as I started to run a little bit agressively, my knee did the same thing. Same pain, same swelling, same recovery. I went to a doctor and he recomended to standstill and absense of any kind of sport for a while. His diagnosis was vulnerable, but not broken meniskus.
I suspend from any sport for about a year, I only drove my bike...Again, I feel no pain or some other annoyance whatsoever with my knee. I would like to try to play football or basketball again, but fear get into me. I'm afraid that something similar or worst is going to happen. Can I strengthen my knee somehow to prevent injury?
What exersise do you recomend?
