Hi everyone,
My name is Jane , I am 44 and was in a car accident 4 mths ago resulting in a shattered lateral talus process ( bone fragments were removed ) and torn cartilage on my calcaneus. The prognosis is that I will have arthritis and probable sub talor fusion. I am not interested in either! I have been researching cartilage regeneration but most of what I read is on knees. Does anyone know of any good reading links and doctors ( either in the U.S or Australia or Europe for that matter) who are performing cartilage repair in ankles? Any information would be appreciated.
