Was hoping to hear peoples imput on the case of an ice hockey player who had a laceration to his VMO, done by falling on his own skate, that was repaired by orthopaedics, who stiched the muscle together and then closed the wound.
When can the VMO be stressed again for rehab purposes? The surgeon said that the muscle will be fully healed in 4 months and rehab can commence then.
Has anyone come across such an injury? Have you had success with rehab programmes?
