Stirling Mortlock has had a dodgy shoulder most of his rugby career. During the game on Saturday night he buggered it again. The cause of the injury was put down to a tackle he did on a reds player.

I reckon that was just the straw that broke the camels back. The main cause i believe was the excessive diving he does when he scores a try. with nooone around him he dives high in the air and lands on his shoulder. he seems to do it every time.

i just think back to matt burke injuring his shoulder in the bledisloe cup years ago and remember he had almost a whole season off with a reconstruction.

matt giteau has started doing the same try scoring dive. are they having side bets on the size of the dive or the seriousness of the injury they are getting.

either way i reckon it is a bad idea.
