I recently had a go- cart acciedent in Thiland. I broke the talus in my ankle and dislocated the ankle.
I had the operation in Thiland and was sent home to Australia with 3 screws and a pin half way up my ankle. They did the best to there ablity in Thiland but i have had another operation since I got back to Australia. They have fixed the minor mistakes they made . I was told it would be 90% chance to have my ankle fused. so far the blood supply doesn't look to bad but most of the talus bone has died off. I only get to stand on my feet for 45 minutes off the day and then the pain kicks inn. And I am back to sitting down I haven't been back to work since it happend its been 10 months. What should i do if i need it fused. Iam only 19 i have so many night clubing days ahead of me. will it stop me from doing things like dancing and bike riding. PLS send me your point of view. its a big operation to undergo.
