Hey, you probably get too many of but I could use some advice. About two weeks back I... Jumped off a school roof and landed unevenly on a hill, hearing a crack, and falling to the ground. Don't ask me why I did it, I don't even know. Anyway, my friends got me back to my place and I was taken to the hospital where, after a few hours of waiting, I got some x-rays taken... I just realized I'm dragging this on. Anyway, the doctor told me that it just looked like a bad sprain, but he'd get a specialist to look at the x-rays to see if there were any fractures or cracks he may have missed, if there were, he'd phone in a few days. So far, no phone calls.

So I've been out of school for the two weeks, since I live fairly far out, and I usually bike to school, can't get a drive, buses don't really stop near my place, etc. It's(my ankle)feeling much better than it did, but I still can't walk on uneven surfaces, and and my heel has been killing me since I tried to walk around outside on it yesterday.

So, after my fairly long, probably pointless telling of what happened, I want to know what you guys think is wrong, if it's just a sprain, and how much longer do you think I'll be out of commission? Anything I could do to... help my ankle/foot along in it's recovery, I've basically just been taking it easy and moving it around as best it will move around, at first I iced it and kept it raised. Thanks for any help. >.<

a good solid sprain like you have done can take from 6 weeks to 6 months to heal properly. if you are able to make it to a physio i would get some treatment from them as they are trained in aiding the recovery of such injuries.

but remember they wont fix in the first visit it will take some visits and some time to heal.

good luck
