is giteau worth the worry?

With knee surgery occuring this week Giteau is expected to miss the first 2 tests for the wallabies against england. Is it worth worrying about him getting fit enough to play test level rugby so soon after surgery when he is so young and able to play for years to come. I reckon we should rest him from this winters test season and hope to have him 100% for the november northern hemisphere tour.
