Kim,
It is possible that the SI joint dysfunction you appear to be suffering from may be due to ligament laxity initiated in the final trimester of your first pregnancy. The hormone Relaxin is secreated at this stage of labour to allow the pelvis to widen in anticipation of child birth. In some cases these ligaments never return to their original length and can therefore cause increased mobility on the joints that they are protecting. SI joint and particularly PSD (Pubic Symphysis Dysfunction) are common after child birth in many women. The two joints mentioned are closely related to each other functionally. Supplements may be of use. As for you question on seeing a manual therapist whilst pregnant, this should not present a problem to either yourself plus one or the therapist.
