Cayless Confusion

Does anyone know for sure what the diagnosis is for Nathan Cayless. NRL Casualty Ward and this site both indicate an expected return in Rd 16, but other sources tell me his operation did not go well and he is now looking at another 6-8 weeks on the sideline. Can anyone shed any light on his condition???

Thanks for the tip. He definitely won't be back next round, as his arm is still in plaster. Apparently this is the same arm he broke last year and so they are taking his recovery a lot slower than normal to avoid any further recurrences. Maybe out of plaster in 2-3 then play a few weeks after that, although Parra are notorious for giving scant details of their players' injuries to the media.

Spoke with a Parramatta Official last week and he said that Cayless has a fracture from the pin that is holding that plate to his arm from last years injury. Even if he is right to play in the last few matches of this season it is more likely that due to our current position on the ladder that we will not risk him again this year. We will see Caylo in 2005.
