The Sydney Roosters are through to the NRL Grand Final, but have fitness queries over Craig Fitzgibbon and Shannon Hegarty. Fitzgibbon has a suspected thumb fracture which will be X-rayed on Monday, although he returned to play with the injury in the second half. Hegarty copped a knee to the flank region which has resulted in a hip pointer and may have bruised lower ribs. He will also be scanned on Monday and faces a fitness test later in the week. Captain Brad Fittler is soldiering on with an injured shoulder rotator cuff. The Panthers have similar injury concerns that will require treatment but probably won't keep their players out. Joe Galuvao, like Hegarty, has a corked hip, whilst Luke Priddis is carrying an A/C joint and rib cartilage injury. Read more on NRL Grand Final injuries at SMH.
