Hey,

where do i start, its a bit long and complicated :)

Lets start from the beginning

I am 29 male

I first noticed that i had imflammation in my right buttock pain, no pain, just felt like i am sitting on a piece of fat. I had no recall of any sport injury, i play football and squash. When i did play squash , after the inflammation would heat up. No pain tho. I went to the doctor and he said i had injuryed my adductor muscle. He said to rest etc.

I few weeks later, i got pain when i sat down, not on my inflammated bit, but on my buttock itself. I went back to the doctor, he said he would refer me to physio. Through all this, the inflammation doesnt hurt. So i went to physio , only to be refered back to the doctor. I have no pain when doing streches, standing up, being active. The doctor sent me for blood test and xray on my pelvis, all was in the clear, so he refered me back to the physio. He gave me some excerise for the week, the next week i go back, he shows me a printed web site, saying about groin hernia, he told me to do some streches to see if anything hurts, not a thing. So he sends me back to doctor, he dismisses hernia in groin, and says to get back on with my life. I went to see another doctor to only being told that he had no clue what is wrong with me.

This has been going on for 2 months now :(

I went to see a chiropractor, and he said it could be a possibility that i one of my moles is pressing on a nerve on my back

I have a lot of moles

My symtons

Pain when i sit on my right bottock, burning feeling on my right hamstringn (sometimes pain on left buttock, but not sure if that is cause i am leaning to that side)
Feel a pulling in my middle back
inflammation in my right buttock pian(no Pain)
Half down my hamstring , if i press in it hurts
Pulling in my right groin area (no pain) (happens sometimes)
Feel a strain (sometimes) in my knee

And recently two spots on my stomach muscles, if i press in it hurts

I can play any sport, with no pain, just after the inflammation on my buttock pian gets hot

Thanks for reading

This may be a hamstring tendon enthesopathy- can be diagnosed by examination- may show on MRI or ultrasound, but not always. Good luck.

hey thanks for the info

is there anything i can do to relieve the pain from sitting?

somone also suggested that it could be hernia/bulging disc, could this be true also?

Until a diagnosis is made, pain-killers are your only option.
It could certainly be a herniated or bulging disc- MRI again the best way of confirming this, but needs to match examination findings.

i have been poked/streched by doctor and Phsyio for weeks, to no result :(, i went to doctors yesterday, asking about mri scan, and he said he wouldnt know which part to scan :(

doesnt hernia/bulging disc cause pain in the effected area tho?

went swimming today, my inflammation got worse in my buttock pian/buttock , and my groin swolled/pulling came on again.

No pain tho

I just want to be able to sit on a pc chair, without feeling discomfort and pain :(

it is starting to effect my left buttock as well, when i sit down

I Experienced What I Thought Was O.p Or Some Form Of Where I Had Abdominal , Groin Aductor Pain And Constant Ache In The Gluetus Maximus.
I Had 4 Or 5 Consultations With Physios Chiro And Remedial Practicioners All In Vain.
The Symptoms Felt Like An Arrow Going Through The Hip.
This Was Some Ten Years Ago,since Then I,ve Learnt Lots Through Being Involved In A.f.l Football.
Its Possible My Condition Was Sciatica Or Something To Do With That Region.
At The Time A Typical Week Involved In Summer 2 Or 3 Runs A Week (5-15 Km),golf 2 -3 Week, Tennis 2 Times And Weights.
Winter Was Football 3 Times A Week And 10 Km Monday Nights.
I Put Up The Pain For 18 Months Before An Self Imposed Exile From Physical Activity.
5 Month Lay Off And I Was Clear Of All Problems.
The Lession Was Listen To Your Body , The Solution Was Simply Rest.
