jumper's knee

hi my name is mickey and i have tendonitis in my left knee. the thing is that i can jog adn jump and there is no pain. but after resting, it starts to bother me. now does tendonits ever go away for good and how could sum1 do it? plz reply to this, thnx. i got it by jumping and landing on concrete sidewalk. the tendonits has been wit me for about 2 weeks now. i ice massage my knee every night. and wrap it with icyhot. but i only ice it for once a day.

Hopefully if it is 2 weeks old it will settle down soon. Sometimes can become chronic. If you have diagnosed it yourself, probably worth getting it checked by a doctor or physio to make sure it isn't something else.
