I had surgery to remove my meniscus on Monday. Dr. said it was bone against done now and down the road I would need to have a knee replacement. Today is Thursday and the first time that I have been able to put any weight on my leg. The nurse told me after day 3 of surgery I could through the crutches away. Althought I can hobble from one short place to another I do not think I could walk a long distance without them. Just would like to know if I am where I need to be in recovery. Don't see dr. till Sept. 12. Like to have your experience on this/
