MRI w/arthrogram

Hello. I have a suspected labral tear in my hip and am going for an mRI w/the arthrogram. Will I be able to drive a standard trannsmission after this procedure or should I get a ride home? Has anyone had this procedure who can answer my question?

I spoke to the technician today and they advised me to get a ride home because it could feel uncomfortable for a day or two.

Hi doug
I had the arthogram in my left hip. I drive a standard shift car and there was no way I was going to be able to drive home. I had a hard time walking a full stride after they were done. Joni
