SOCCEROO Craig Moore's $1.5 million dream move to Blackburn Rovers was scrapped today after a major hitch was uncovered in his medical.
But he could still be on his way to the English Premier League with new boys Norwich City.

Moore's move to Ewood Park broke down because Blackburn wanted a pay-as-you-play deal after scans revealed a problem with his recent knee surgery.

His agent John Viola said: "We just couldn't put a deal together. Craig is not upset at this at all. He has had many ups and downs in his career.

"Another top English team have shown an interest in him and I have a meeting with them shortly."

Scottish newspapers report today that news of the Rovers breakdown came as a hammer blow to Moore just hours after a cut-price deal had been agreed to end his Rangers career.

Moore's decision to head for Athens with the Aussie Olympic team was the final straw for Rangers and it is difficult to see how he could get his Ibrox career back on track.

It has been in limbo since last year when, at the same time as being named captain by manager Alex McLeish, he was refusing to sign an extended contract.

Moore, 28, further angered his Rangers bosses by questioning their ambition in a TV interview in Australia, after he had returned home for a knee operation
