Hi there . Just wondering if anyone has had ankle fusion and developed a stress fracture of tibia after surgery. My surgery was in June and I got stress fracture in August. My leg is in constant pain...feels like its burning all the time...sometimes have trouble walking. Am wearing an air cast at present....does anyone know approximately how long it takes for stress fracture to heal. If it werent for stress fracture Im sure Id be almost pain free from my ankle fusion. Thanks for any input.
