Victorian paceman Mick Lewis will miss next week's Pura Cup cricket match against Queensland with a hip injury.
Lewis pulled up in his bowling run on Wednesday night during the third over of the Tasmanian first innings and immediately limped from the field.
Tests showed Lewis had suffered a slight tear high in his gluteus medius muscle.
A Bushrangers spokesman said the team was hopeful Lewis would be available for the November 29 one-dayer, also against Queensland at the MCG.
