NSW captain Nathan Grey and fullback Peter Hewat have pulled out of the Waratahs' four-match tour of Argentina because of injury.
Grey sustained a neck injury in a heavy tackle in Manly's 49-25 loss to Eastwood in last weekend's NSW Tooheys New Cup preliminary final.
And his Manly teammate Hewat succumbed to an ankle injury sustained at training last week.
"I've got a bulging disc and at this point I'm not quite ready to go on tour which is very disappointing," said Grey who came off and didn't return from the heavy tackle.
Despite sustaining ankle ligament damage at club training, Hewat still started for Manly and played a courageous role for the Marlins against Eastwood.
NSW head coach Ewen McKenzie said tour replacements would be named tomorrow or Friday.
The Waratahs leave on October 14.
