ruptured patella tendon, what can i expect?

hi all

I ruptured my patella tendon playing cricket on australia day this year (07) went in for surgery on 30th jan and am now in my first week of recovery, just wanting to hear from any people who have been through this who can shed some light on what sort of recovery time i should expect and any general advice to help me out as i am feeling pretty helpless at the moment, stuck on the couch.

Grit thru it it will get better..check the posts above..when I was in the rehab facilty with both of my legs in braces it was a godsend!!!!fill yourself with positive people,educate yourself and welcome to the club(does that mean I get double entrance???)
