tenderness right inner ankle

this is probably minor, and not the result of a sports injury, however, I have for the last month experienced soreness on my inner ankle on my right leg. Coincidentally, that leg also has varicose veins behind the right knee for years. My concern is: is there a connection, because the POPLITEAL artery is located behind the right knee and also near the inner ankle on the right leg. I have concerns about PAD or PVD. I am a woman over 50. Anyone have any insight or info? THanks.

If you are that worried, see your GP and get some conclusive dopplers via a vascular surgeons office

If the only feedback is "call your doctor" there isnt much point to a discussion forum, is there....an option, surprisingly, I was already aware of !! I will look elsewhere for more info, thanks anway.
