I think that you should stop taking the anti inflammatories and go and get your shoulder checked out. Give Karim Kahn's office a call to see if they can refer you to someone in your area.

You can also try your GP and ask for a suggestion of a sports physician. You can also try seeing a physio to get an assessment as to whether if needs more specialist diagnoses and they should be able to also refer you to someone. A physio should be able to treat the acute inflammation.

The other alternative is to contact CASM the Canadian Academy of Sports Medicine and see if they can refer you to someone in your area.

Hope this helps.

it sounds to me that u are suffering more from anxiety than ur injury. i suggest u see a psychologist, or a sports psychologist. if you play any sports, it should always be in the back of your mind that you could get an injury. You now have an injury and you have to deal with it as best as you can. for most injuries (excluding arthritis and some others) time will be the best healer. So i suggest you really try to focus on something else to keep your mind off the pain and the injury. Alot of athletes have probably gone through alot more pain than you.

Hi there,

You really need to be careful in what you are saying. Everyone deals with their injury in a different way !!!
