Very surgically orientated, but a state of the moment summary of the major issues in sports surgery at the moment.
Has some interesting stuff in it - like a survey of surgeons who do knee reconstructions asking what they would ever do if the graft got contaminated (read - one of the operating team dropped it on the floor during the procedure). Some would just wash it and keep going, others would discard it and take one from the other knee and others would discard it and ask for a cadaver one on the spot (presuming their hospital had some in the bank).
Not happy, Jan, if you are the patient!
