The main goal of the surgery is that your knee is stable, so the no. 1 rule is to not do anything silly before you have given the graft time to mature.

A secondary goal of importance is getting the knee back to full pain-free range of motion and physiotherapy can probably help with this.

If you are getting good range with not much swelling, sit tight and wait. You may not need much physio or rehab.

If you are getting a lot of pain, swelling or restriction of range of motion, see a physio, and if they can't help you, go back to your surgeon for review.

For the record, the patellar tendon recos tend to have less problems with stability than the hamstring, but have more difficulty getting pain-free range.
