I was told I had a cyst between L4 and L5 which has too much calcification aronf it for the cyst to be drained. What exactly does that mean? Are the calcifications due to arthritic changes-- I do have moderate arthritic changes around the facets in that area and some early disc degeneratiion. Is my only hope surgery? I have been having pretty severe sciatica pain. mmk730
