Has anyone had any success with any treatment modalities for TMJ Syndrome? Dentist, chiro, craniosacral work?

Good luck with TMJ. I've been treated on and off for it since my late 20's (I'n now 51). I go to a specialist called a prosthodontist in Macquarie St. Sydney ( Neil Peppitt). Be careful though, sometimes what they call THJ is your body's defence against something more sinister. I was once treated for up to 2 years with a "bad case of TMJ" but was actually suffering from an infection in my facial nerves, caused by a cracked tooth. Subsequent treatment from an endodontist fixed the problem and voila! all referred pain (especially facial neuralgia) disappeared. That said, I AM a tooth grinder (in my sleep) and this causes TMJ problems which Dr. Peppitt controls with a specially fitted dental appliance, which he adjusts once or twice a year.
