Rugby League Player Insurance

We are a Rugby League Club in Queensland Australia and are currently looking at income and medical insurance for some of our A Grade players as part of their sign-on package. Does anyone know of companies offering this type of insurance? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated

NSW Sporting injuries committee could give you excellent insurance if you were in NSW. No similar body exists in Queensland, but contact the NSWSIC and they may give you a list of the good private insurers you could use.

It wouldn't hurt to write to the Qld sports minister and ask why Qld doesn't have a government insurer like NSW for rugby league.
