hey i think i have patellar tendonitis cos me patellar tendon hurts and i keep on re injuring it after only like 12 days out so i was wondering how long you have to rest out and when you can do exercises like light ones like swimming, walking, bike riding and can you play like with a knee strap or something just if anyone knows please reply cheers caza- i play alot of basketball

It is difinitely a delicate balance between the right amount of exercise.

I've actually printed these photos to show patients this exercise (with a reference to injuryupdate of course). I've found that a good eccentric program with adequate rest and recovery is quite effective for tendinopathy.
