About six weeks ago I injured my hand moving furniture. The wrist and the area below the pinky hurt when I did anything strenuous. Now all the pain and discomfort are gone except that when I lift heavy objects high up to about my face, I fell pain on the edge of my hand just under the pinky. But if I lift in a way where there is no stress on that part of the hand then it doesn't hurt. Can someone please tell me what is going on?

hi
Here's a few tips on figuring out what the problem could be
If you make a fist or grab an object and squeeze it, does it hurt? (problem in hand)
If you press on the pinky's bone on the back of your hand, does it hurt? (= bone)
If you stretch the pinky backwards, does it hurt (=muscle-tendon or ligament)
If you curl your pinky so that it bends half way and then try to push it straight with your other hand (the pinky does not move, so you try to keep it bent against pressure), does it hurt (= muscle-tendon)
If you push on the muscles on the pinky side of your palm, does it hurt (=muslces)
If you put your hand over you ear and then turn your hand and arm so that your fingers face down into you upper shoulder-neck muscles and your palm is over your ear, does it hurt (= ulnar nerve)
Tell me what you found!
