Michael Owen suffered a thigh strain during England's 1-0 win over Austria in a friendly overnight. He won't play in England's Euro 2008 qualifier against Croatia next Wednesday night (Thursday morning our time). I'm not sure when he will be back. I think Newcastle (The team he plays for in the EPL) will decide when he comes back. Owen seems to have been injured forever. He had that groin strain recently and at last year's world cup, that knee injury.
