I'm 16, and last season when I was sprinting quite hard, I would sometimes feel a massive twinge at the top of my thigh, which was quite painful and caused me to either pull out of the race or hobble back.
I'm trying to find out what the muscle is called, and some more information on it, as it seems to keep coming back.
It is the muscle which you would use if you were standing up straight and wanted to lift your thick/knee into the air. Any ideas?
