Hairline fractured lumbar

the name is bonez im a pro wrestler and about a month ago I fell 20 ft and bruised my lung and fractured my c12 lumbar..Doctor said i should be out for 6 to 9 months but when is ok for me to start physically training again? is there any other athletes with simialr injuries on this forum? I have no medical insurence as of right now so going to the doctors isn't really an option...my bills are high enough

Bone often heals in about 2 months in simple fractures, provided it hasn't been aggravated by excess use (wrestling). Then there is the rehab of surrounding soft tissues which is another couple of months before you get back into full wrestling training.
The problem is being pro that wrestling is your main source of income isn't it? If so the dilemma is do I take a risk and possibly shorten my career by going back early, or make sure things are before going back???
