Hi

In need of help, have had a shoulder problem for many years and learned somehow to live with or wor around. Have seen a variety of people, but still knowone has diagnosed the problem. Planning on competing again this yr (natural bodybuilding) and at the moment shoulder is giving me more than normal grief.
Can anyone recommend someone close to Newcastle NSW, or the steps i should go through to diagnose the problem.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Cheers

If no diagnosis, you probably need to chase down an MRI scan.

In Newcastle the docs who look after the Knights are a good starting point for sports injuries (Neil Halpin and Peter McGeogh).

Not sure on shoulder surgeons in Newcastle, but there are some good ones on the northern side of Sydney (Des Bokor, Stuart Kirkham, David Sonnabend, Mark Perko).

Thanks for that.
I will look into Neil Halpin as i called the other doctor yesterday but he closed his books to new patients. Hopefully Neil hasn't closed his too.
