TMJ - jaw popped

Has anyone had anything like this before? temporomandibular joint disorder

Last night while eating dinner, my jaw just felt like it friggen broke. I didn't have a clue what had happened, but found heaps of info on what had actually happened and it has that name. Abreviated to TMJ.

Anyone got any treatment options for me?

Thanks for the tips on dealing with the TMJ. I went to the chiropractor today and he said my problems are definitely coming from my jaw. He showed me on the chart how all of the muscles are related. It really eased my mind and after my treatment I felt a lot better. I am trying to stop clenching, I catch myself doing it in the daytime also. Gaudy
