Wrist tendon

Can anyone help me with a sports doctor or good physio for an injured tendon in the left wrist. Need someone to pinpoint the issues. I am in Melbourne northern suburbs.

Sorry buddy, i'm in NZ so can't help. Have you asked your GP to refer you to someone?

Have seen numerous gp's and all they want to do is refer to someone else........ waiting about 8 - 10 weeks! There has to be a better way!

Thats like ringing and asking a panel beater for a quote over the phone. I was after a referral or someone who had had a good experience with a medico rather than being the guinea pig.

Get your GP to refer you. If it's anything like here in Canada you won't be able to see a specialist without a referral anyways.

In Australia you can see a Physio or sports doc withut a referral.

Like I said, ring around and ask if the physio knows about wrist injuries. I do not know what the problem is, obviously by noone answering you 6tee7, they DO NOT know.

It is not difficult. Ring around, get some names and then look them up on the internet (which obviously you know how to use), do your research if noone here can answer you.

If it is a sporting injury then a sports physio might be the go. Look up the APA and they will have a list of members in Melbourne.
