Hi Guys, I Fractured my right heel in a high speed head on car accident on the 29th of feb, i was in a cast for 11 weeks ( drove me crazy) couldnt wait bear my foot but at the 11 week mark i was walking on my cast i know i got told off by the Dr. he did more xrays then and was told it hasnt healed properly there was still a crack and new bone still growing over it so it was a good sign and has placed me in a walking boot with only a little bit of pressure aloud on it and use of 1 crutch, at the start the Dr. told me it was a 3 month recovery and i didnt need surgery because the bone was still in place, and now at 15 weeks (go for another xray to see were to go from there) it feels still swollen on the inside of my ankle and feels stiff, has any one had a similar injury and did they recover 100% from this, Iam a 24 yr old healthy female!
