Cut Muscle in foot

When playing football i got studded through the side of my foot the stud went throught my boots cut my foot open and it cut through the muscle i had it stitched but it is still really hurting after 2 weeks does anyone know how long it will take to get back to normal or anything i can do to help.

This sort of injury is pretty hard to make general statements about as all lacerations are different in size and location. In the foot infections are likely so check with your doctor if there is redness and swelling in addition to the pain. If you haven't taken antibiotics already, your doctor might prescribe them.

Nerves can get damaged in lacerations as well which also might explain the pain, and sometimes foreign bodies can get in (e.g. the other player's boot studs). After two weeks the pain should be getting better so seek further medical advice.
