Although every man, woman and their respective dogs have had a say on this issue in the past 4 weeks, and it is only remotely connected to injury, this is a novel suggestion regarding the NRL/Bulldogs sex scandal. One of the traditions of traveling teams is that for purposes unspecified (perhaps bonding, perhaps cost saving) it is traditional for players to share rooms. For semi-amateur teams it is a sensible cost-saver, but for professional teams this factor is less relevant. The reality on the road is that there are some single players and others who may want to play up, and that there are 'available' and willing partners in every venue that is visited. The tradition of players sharing rooms means that if one team member happens to find a willing sexual partner then others may inadvertently become part of the action. Over time the tradition of one-in all-in may develop. If teams decided that players could have individual rooms, surely the ratio of one to one sexual behaviour on the road, as opposed to group sex, would increase.
