How come you haven't got a gig at the ACSMS conference?

ACSMS just completed and the highlight for most people was the opening keynote by Roald Bahr - "redefining sports medicine from sprained ankles to clogged arteries". This was a fantastic presentation and apparently has sealed the deal on SMA linking up with physical activity more in the future.
A personal highlight was speaking to Willem Van Mechelen about his 1992 paper in Sports Medicine, which I would guess would be in the top 5 papers of all time in terms of citation index. Apparently he had this paper rejected twice before finally getting it published in Sports Medicine (and then having it go on to become the blueprint for sports injury prevention research).
As usual, anything Karim Khan said was also a highlight.
I was impressed that at the trade show I was able to purchase every piece known to man.
I've just received the abstracts book - are there any other papers you recommend having a look at? I'm particularly interested in sports injury stuff, but come from an Exercsie Science background which hasn't been overly supportive of my love of sport!
